Event:  Approximately 100 people are expected to demonstrate against the situation in the Middle East this afternoon, January 31, in front of the U.S. Embassy Dublin in Ballsbridge.  The demonstration is planned to begin at 2:30 pm and conclude at 4:00 pm.  Similar demonstrations protesting the situation in the Middle East are expected over the next few weeks.

·         Avoid the areas around Ballsbridge

·         Exercise caution if in the vicinity

·         Monitor local media for updates

·         Be aware of your surroundings

·         Keep a low profile

·         Notify friends and family of your safety
