Assistant Public Affairs Officer Angie Smith, Chief Irish Government Whip, Paul Kehoe and the President of the Enniscorthy Chamber of Commerce spoke at the launch of Ireland’s only 1950s Rock & Roll Festival in SW Ireland. The event was a new fringe activity for the Riverside Jump Festival, which featured sixteen rock n roll bands from Ireland, Europe and American playing in the town over weekend. The Riverside Jump is an annual 3 day festival focused on 1950’s Rock ‘n’ Roll, Rockabilly and Rhythm ‘n’ Blues music. It takes place every July in Enniscorthy, County Wexford, Ireland. The event is run on a non-profit basis and all revenue raised is used to promote music.
